What is GeM Registration ???
Government e- Market Place (GeM) is a dynamic, self-sustaining and user-friendly portal for making procurements by government. GeM is basically an E- commerce website run by the Government of India. The main purpose to establish GeM is to bring in transparency in all the government purchases. A lot of common user goods like tablets, laptops, printers, bar code scanners, air conditioner, packaged drinking water etc can be listed upon GeM. The government departments just like any other office require multiple goods and services from time to time. GeM can be very advantageous for various manufacturers and traders to help them sell their goods directly to the government departments.
